Race-day Do & Don't
Please follow these rules to keep the event safe and fun for everyone.
✔ Do
- Arrive early — give yourself time for check-in and warm-up before flag-off.
- Warm up for 5–10 minutes before you run to lower injury risk.
- Wear the official NDC Fun Run jersey with proper running shoes and sportswear.
- Stay hydrated — drink enough water and use the water stations along the route.
- Run at your own pace — this is a non-competitive fun run, not a race.
- Stay on the marked course and be respectful to other runners.
- Follow every instruction from the race officials and marshals.
✘ Don't
- Don't try new gear or food on race day — no new shoes, no unfamiliar meals.
- Don't skip the warm-up — cold muscles get injured.
- Don't sprint from the start — pace yourself so you can finish strong.
- Don't litter — keep the route and venue clean throughout the event.
- Don't stop suddenly on the running lane — step to the side first.
- Don't push through if you feel unwell — stop and call a medic immediately.
- Don't do anything that puts yourself or other runners at risk.
